Blind man becomes a successful businessman, runs two companies
Meet Ankur Dhawan, a 36-year-old blind entrepreneur from New Delhi, India, who has achieved incredible success despite his disability. Ankur runs two companies – one that provides audio descriptions for movies and another that offers corporate training services.
Ankur lost his eyesight at the age of 15 due to a medical condition, but he refused to let this setback define his life. Instead, he pursued his education and went on to earn an MBA degree. After struggling to find employment due to discrimination against the visually impaired, Ankur decided to start his own business.
In 2014, he founded Access4All, a company that provides audio descriptions for movies and TV shows to make them accessible to the visually impaired. The company has since grown to serve clients across India and internationally, and Ankur has won several awards for his work.
In 2019, Ankur expanded his entrepreneurial ventures by founding Corporate Navigators, a company that provides corporate training services in areas such as leadership, team-building, and communication. The company has also been successful, and Ankur now manages a team of 20 employees across both of his businesses.
Ankur’s story is an inspiration to many, proving that with hard work, determination, and a positive attitude, anyone can achieve their goals and overcome any obstacle.
