Rand Fishkin is a well-known American entrepreneur, author, and founder of Moz, a software as a service (SaaS) company that specializes in search engine optimization (SEO) tools. Fishkin is a graduate of the University of Washington, where he studied business administration and marketing. He founded Moz (formerly known as SEOMoz) in 2004, along with his mother Gillian Muessig, as a blog and online community for SEO professionals.
