The Canadian government is also warning the air companies that passengers should be tested before boarding the ship so that no patient can board the ship, all this is being done to prevent the corona virus from spreading.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he would close the country’s borders on Monday, calling the nation’s citizens, American and permanent residents, and all Canadians home amid the coronovirus epidemic.
He said that the country is taking “increasingly aggressive steps” to keep everyone safe.
Trudeau also said that his government would restrict flights to airports in four major cities in Canada.
Outside his residence, Trudeau said, “All Canadians stay as home as possible.”
Trudeau said his government’s decisions are based on science and public health recommendations, but Americans will be exempted despite an increase in cases in the US.
The United States is Canada’s largest trading partner for 75 percent of the country’s exports. Trudeau has spoken to US President Donald Trump in recent times.
