Vaishnavi Puja Gautam is an 11-year-old talented Kathak artist from Faridabad who won the “Delhi Talent Award 2019-20“, “Vivekananda National Yuva Ratan Samman-2020” and “Nritya Shri Samman 2020“.
She was awarded the “Delhi Pratibha Puraskar 2019-20” by Indian classical dance maestro, MP, writer and Bollywood’s Dream Girl Hema Malini ji. The competition was organized by The Art and Cultural Trust of India.
Padma Shri Smt. Soma Ghosh Ji and Padma Vibhushan Shri Raghunath Mohapatra Ji and many of Indian classical world in the presence of various veterans including Cabinet Minister Shri Arjun Munda Ji, Minister of State, Parliament Affair Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal Ji, Minister of State Dr. Satish Chandra Dwivedi ji. Honored guests were present.
This did not happen in just one day, this magical journey of dance started when my father took me to a dance academy as a gift on my 5th birthday. I thank my parents, family, friends, teachers and the people around me who have always supported and supported my dream of pursuing my passion and becoming a better dancer.

The young Kathak Vaishnavi Pooja Gautam gave an excellent performance at the Vishala Kala Utsav held on 15 February at Jagannath Auditorium, New Delhi. Vaishnavi fascinated the audience with her magical performance. Vaishnavi was awarded the “Nritya Shree Samman 2020” for her exceptional performance in Kathak.
The same evening, Vaishnavi performed at the Aligarh Festival in Aligarh. Vaishnavi harmonized the voice of Ghungroo with his facial expressions that the Aligarh audience respected him with a thunderous applause.
Dr. Swasti Rao Kulhari (wife of SSP Aligarh) was overwhelmed by the amazing performance of Vaishnavi, 11 years old. After the performance, he hugged Vaishnavi and boosted her morale and honored her by giving her shawls and moments. Dr. Swasti said that the performance by Vaishali was excellent and he was sure that Vaishnavi would make a big name in dance and make India proud.
Vaishnavi Pooja Gautam has been awarded the Swami Vivekananda National Youth Honor Award-2020 for her achievements in the field of dance. Eleven year old Vaishnavi started learning dance at the age of five and she has specialized in various dance arts including Kathak, HipHop, Urban, Contemporary and Bollywood.
Vaishnavi has performed in various national and international dance shows and won many awards. Vaishnavi practices dance every day to become a professional dance artist.
