Parag Desai, the executive director of the Wagh Bakri Tea Group, passed away at the age of 49 in Ahmedabad after a tragic incident. He lost his life a week after an incident where he slipped and encountered street dogs during his evening walk. Although it was initially reported that he had fallen while being chased by dogs, the Shelby Hospital, where he was admitted, stated that there were no dog bite marks on his body.
Desai was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state around 6 pm on October 15. A CT scan revealed acute subdural hematoma with bilateral frontal contusion. He was immediately admitted to the ICU and recommended for 72 hours of observation and treatment.
Subsequently, Desai was transferred to Zydus Hospital for brain surgery. Tragically, he passed away due to a brain hemorrhage during treatment. This incident has left many in shock, as there were no physical signs of dog bites on his body, despite the initial assumption that he had been chased by dogs.
The circumstances surrounding his fall and subsequent medical conditions have led to a heartfelt loss for the Desai family. His death was confirmed by an official associated with the family, who shared that he had undergone brain surgery and was kept under observation before his unfortunate demise on Sunday around 7 pm.
