COVID-19 Vaccine Made in Oxford, Trial Soon Will Start in India

The results of the first trial on humans of Britain's Oxford University corona virus vaccine have been published in The Lancet. According to the research paper, antibodies and T-cells were found when the vaccine was given and the side effects were also not serious.

Researchers claim that the vaccine has no major side effects. However, there are some side effects that can be overcome through paracetamol.

Coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly in the country. Meanwhile, the trial of Corona virus vaccine prepared at Oxford University will begin in India. This process will be started after getting the license.

This information was given by an Indian company partnering with researchers in Britain. According to the results of the trial published in Lancet Medical General, Vaccine no. AZD1222 results in the first phase of clinical trial have been positive. No serious side effects have been observed.

Researchers claim that the vaccine has no major side effects. However, there are some side effects that can be overcome through paracetamol.

Adar Poonawalla, head of Serum Institute of India, the world’s largest vaccine-making company, said that “the test has yielded very positive results and is very happy about it”. The Serum Institute of India is also in agreement with Oxford researchers.

He said, “We will apply to the Indian regulator within a week to get the license for the test. As soon as we get the approval, we will start testing the vaccine in India. Also, we will soon start manufacturing vaccines in huge quantity in India.”
