Which means its the dream and your passion for a particular thing that takes you forward in life .
One of the Personality , who has proved this phrase is Colors INDIA’S GOT TALENT 8 RUNNER UP & PLAYBACK SINGER GAURAV MEDATWAL.
Gaurav Has been deeply into music right from his school days wherein he use to play keyboard in morning prayers.
He has completed his Schooling From St Anthonys School Udaipur Rajasthan. “A big Thanks to my Principal sir Mr Willian D Souza and my music teacher Mr Prince Gold Smith who has always supported and pushed me forward into art at school level “, says Gaurav .
After his schooling he went into Electronics engineering in Pune University and like the trend being followed , he also wanted to work in a gud reputed Multinational Company. In college Gaurav was not only good in music but he was a scholar too wherin he could balance the academics as well as his talent of music.
From there gaurav started singing and competing at College levels and many other levels to grow professionally into singing.
But due to the tight schedule of college he never got an opportunity to learn singing professionally , and here the challenge started and he did it on his own by listening on to the Legendary Singers like Kishore kumar , Lata Mangeshkar, Sonu Nigam , Shankar mahadevan and many more . “Its only We , who could see the best in Us “ says Gaurav , and he went with the flow by listening and learning.
A phase came when he was placed in a Gud IT company but he decided to pursue music professionally and make it as his career . He dropped his Job Offer Letter and migrated to Mumbai for music.
After his Graduation , Gaurav did his Diploma in SOUND ENGINEERING from the well known institute SOUND IDEAZ ACADEMY Mumbai under the guidance of Well known Sound Engineer Of the Music Industry Mr Pramod Chandorkar who is the sound engineer of Legendary singer Mr Sonu Nigam ji .
Here Gaurav got to learn the technical aspects of Music and Sound and parallely Gaurav Started learning Hindustani Classical Vocals also . He got his vocal training from his Guru Mrs Rita Kaul , who has trained Bollywood singer Armaan Mallik since childhood.
“I always wanted to learn the technical side and technical parameters of Music And Sound so i joined Soundideaz Academy and it is practically very helpful when you are performing on stage and have the knowledge of the technical parameters of sound being applied on you “ Says Gaurav.
After his sound engineering Gaurav Joined one of The Biggest sound Company of India “SOUND.COM” as an intern sound engineer. But the parallel efforts of singing made him reach to one of the top talent reality show “INDIA’S GOT TALENT 8” aired on COLORS TELEVISION with the band “THE LIVE 100 EXPERIENCE” where in he was one of the lead singers of the band and they turned out to be the 1st Runner Up of the show in 2019.
Just after that he was given a chance to record with the Legendary music directors of the Music Industry Mr Ajay-Atul for a song “Niyam Ho” for the movie “SUPER 30”starring handsome hunk Hrithik Roshan .
“No field is small , there’s no field which has 0 scope, you need to find the right way to pursue it professionally “. Gaurav has set an example for the youths in the music field and would love to see more such talents coming out and making their hobby as their profession .
