Mere Chanda, Mein Tumhara, Sitara Raha. – @amitabhbhattacharyaofficial 🖊 🎵: @arrahman @hridaygattani @jonitamusic @castingchhabra Can’t believe we’re just one week away from our labour of love reaching you & hopefully entering your hearts. Sharing this really special memory of the both us, with you all. This was about one week into shooting Dil Bechara, in 2018. Just a moment of us being really satisfied with what we were creating. It all tastes bittersweet. Everything. No idea what to feel. Or how to feel. Numbness eludes. Wish you were here. #SushantSinghRajput #ThinkingOfYou

Apart from this, she participated in a few workshops with the film’s director Mukesh Chhabra and also received language training from NSD graduate and actress Sushmita Sur. Sanjana said, ‘Finally after working hard every day for six to seven months, I became comfortable talking in this language and did scenes in Bengali with (co-star) Swastika (Mukherjee) and Shashwat da (Chatterjee) Filmed comfortably, playing the role of my parents in the film.

She further added, ‘Swastika and Shashwat Da are themselves well-known actors of Bengali films. They did not know that I am from North India and I remember when Swastika was telling Mukesh that it was good that you chose a Bengali girl to play Kiji’s character, otherwise it would have been very difficult. Sanjana says, “This was the biggest compliment I received at that time.”
